Torus RV caravans are built using a modern fiberglass sandwich panel construction with a fire-retardant XPS Core System. This method makes the van rot-proof, hail-resistant, and impervious to water. The result is a structure that has three times the insulation and twice the strength of a traditionally framed caravan
How long can I stay off-grid in the 16ft Kakadu?
This model is exceptionally well-equipped for extended off-grid living. It comes standard with a powerful solar and battery setup, including 800 watts of solar , two 200Ah Renogy Pro Lithium Batteries (400Ah total) , a 3000w inverter , and the Renogy ONE Core Battery Management System. For water, you have two 95L fresh water tanks (190L total) and a 95L grey water tank.

The 16ft Rear Ensuite Kakadu has a Tare weight of approximately 2200 kg and an ATM (Aggregate Trailer Mass) of 2900 kg. This means the caravan weighs 2200 kg empty and can be loaded with up to 700 kg of gear, water, and personal items.
